Start With Cookies

"Start With Cookies" is a 72-page, 8.5 x 9 in., cookbook designed for DoubleTree by Hilton in collaboration with OneKreate. In this book, DoubleTree wanted to showcase clever recipes from around the world, utilizing their signature DoubleTree cookies. When designing, we wanted to showcase the exotic nature of many of the recipes found within the book. To do this, signature recipes are accompanied with one-page photos of the finished products. Aside from the photography, each recipe has its own story and sources of inspirations provided by that recipes chef/creator. Within each recipes' story, holds very interesting information (color-coated) that would catch the viewers eye, as well as keep them enticed in the stories. Each recipe is accompanied with an icon of the country used, as well as icons that relate directly to the kitchen tools used in the creation of the recipe.

All photography was shot and edited in-house, by the OneKreate photography team. This project was executed utilizing Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and was printed in the original 8.5 x 9 in. size, as well as a smaller 6.5 x 7 in. size, both in hard and soft covers. The book was also released digitally on Issuu, and is available for sale at DoubleTree by Hilton’s international locations.
